1. Phlox stolonifera

It is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows only six inches and comes in a variety of colors such as white, blue, pink, and purple.

2. Stachys lanata

Also known as lamb’s or hare’s ear, it is a perfect ground cover plant to cover the ground with its silver-gray foliage throughout the year and its purple flowers that bloom in spring.

3. Viola sororia

Viola sororia, known as the common blue violet, is a moderate-growing plant that features freckled purple flowers in mid-spring. Combine it with mosses to create a forest effect.

4. Mint requienii

It is a herbaceous plant that belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is native to Sardinia, Corsica, Italy and France. It develops tiny pale mauve flowers in the summer and is ideal for decorating your garden . In addition, you will enjoy its pleasant mint aroma. It prefers the shade although it can also develop adequately in the afternoon sun.

5. Dianthus gratianopolitanus

It is a perennial herbaceous plant with blue-green foliage that develops pink, clove-scented flowers up to a foot tall. It requires little amount of water.

6. Mazus reptans

It is a low-growing evergreen , perfect for covering surfaces quickly and also as a pond edge. It adapts perfectly to shady areas of the garden and its roots spread quickly as soon as it is planted. In summer it produces small blue or white flowers. Its leaves are lanceolate, small and serrated. It prefers moist, but well-drained soils.

7. Isotoma fluviatilis

Commonly known as the blue star vine or marsh isotope, it produces pale blue flowers that bloom from spring to fall. They spread quickly with filtered light, although it doesn’t hurt to take a few hours of intense sun either.

8. Sedum album

Commonly called cat grape, it is a crassulaceae that grows on walls, rocks and roofs. The Sedum is a perennial , lively and succulent plant that can grow up to 30 cm tall. Its almost reddish-colored leaves are fleshy and in summer it produces white flowers with black anthers.
