What are apricots? Apricot , the fruit of the apricot tree ( Prunur armeniaca ), is also known by other names such as apricot or apricot . This fleshy stone fruit is native to Asia and was introduced by the Romans to Europe.

Apricots are a fruit with a high content of water, vitamins, minerals and fiber, being highly recommended during any stage of our life for the benefits they provide for health.
