Care of the aloe vera plant that we must put into practice

The main thing for growing the aloe vera plant is to have a pot with a good drainage system, since excess water could severely damage it.

It would even be necessary to ensure that the pot has a minimum depth of 50 cm, since the roots need enough space to be able to develop.

Although it can resist direct sun for several hours, excessive exposure to it can cause burns on the stalks, especially in the hottest times of the year.

The aloe plant  does not withstand low temperatures of less than 10 ° C. In addition, frost can cause damage to the aerial part and roots. The ideal temperature is between 17 and 27 ° C.

The substrate must be rich in organic matter, padded and airy. Therefore, it should be avoided that it becomes caked because it will hinder the development of the roots and will not be able to absorb the nutrients and water.

Irrigation should be moderate, avoiding waterlogging. The most recommended is drip irrigation to keep it hydrated, but without overdoing it.

If you want to have more aloe vera plants , let the children that are emerging from the ground measure approximately 20 cm high so that you can carefully cut and plant in another pot.

Now that if you do not want to have more, when you see that the suckers are coming out of the ground, cut them immediately so that the mother plant does not waste its resources on new plants.

So it’s just a matter of buying aloe vera  and starting to admire it at home. Don’t think about it any more and get this plant   at Garden Center Ejea .
