Characteristics of the ovine fescue

Hemicryptophyte vivacious plant, which forms dense clumps of 15 cm height.

The leaves are cordiform, greyish green in color, with a fine texture between 0.5 and 1 mm wide.

The inflorescence is quite flat and slightly feathered. It blooms from May to June in its natural environment (female and male organs). It is pollinated by the wind.
