How to make homemade cream deodorant

Making our own deodorant is very easy and fast.

Ingredients to prepare a homemade cream deodorant :

> 50 gr of white clay or kaolin, or you can also use arrowroot.

> 50 g of bicarbonate

> 50 ml of coconut oil

> If you want, you can use between 7 and 10 drops of essential oil to give it the aroma and properties you want, remember that some essential oils are sensitive to the sun, such as mandarin, orange, lemon, bergamot and grapefruit so they can produce spots on the skin. It is better to avoid them in this case. On the other hand, essential oils such as oregano , cinnamon , thyme , cloves, eucalyptus or tea tree would be a good option in this case, as they have antibacterial action and would block the bad smell.

Making the deodorant:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, if the coconut oil has solidified you can put it in a water bath for a few seconds until it is liquid, over very low heat. Mix and stir all the ingredients very well so that they are evenly distributed.

Once well mixed, we transfer it to an opaque glass bottle where we can keep it for up to 1 year from the date of manufacture.

It should be applied to the armpit and given a little massage so that it is fully absorbed.
