Plants that bloom all year round and some tips for growing more flowers

Who loves nature, surely has a couple of plants in the garden or terrace. But there are times when we are waiting for the spring or summer season to arrive so that they can flourish. Although the ideal would be to have plants that bloom all year round . African violet

The African violet is a flowering plant that can be enjoyed all year round . It is a kind of interior that requires a lot of light so that it can grow optimally. In the summer months it needs to be watered 3 times a week, but in the winter once every 2 weeks will suffice. Ideally, apply a fertilizer every 15 days.

Chrysanthemum

Verbena

Begonia

Begonia is a plant that adds a touch of color to the garden or terrace. It is a species that has large, multi-colored flowers. It should be in a well-lit area with moderate watering. As for the fertilizer, this should be every 2 weeks without exceeding it, since it could generate a severe problem in the plant.

Anthurium

The anthurium is a plant that requires to be located in a place with a lot of light, but without the direct sun and even without drafts. As for the irrigation, this should be moderate once a week, like the fertilizer.

Tips for giving more flowers

These are just some tips that should be put into practice so that the plants give more flowers and can last longer in the flowering period.

  • Compost . Compost is a basic tool for plants, since it adds nutrients to the soil while promoting bacterial activity that will give it fertility.
  • Root care . Plant roots can be very delicate, especially the tips, and it is through them that plants absorb water and nutrients. So when transplanting, be careful not to damage them and if they were damaged, allow them to recover.
  • Padded . Plants that grow with mulch tend to be stronger and less prone to pests and diseases and even give more flowers.
  • Light . Light is essential for the plant, since direct light for several hours a day will make the species flourish.
  • Irrigation . The amount of water required will cause the plant to produce a good amount of flowers.
