House plants

The variety of plants that can be grown at home are many, from those for small and medium-sized environments to those for large spaces. Spacious living rooms, studios and offices are perfect environments for large plants. In front of a large French door, some plants as large as orange trees live almost like outdoors, but you have to be careful of too much light. In more conventional settings, palm trees blend well with rich furnishings or antique furniture. Don’t overfill a room with large plants. One or two well placed specimens will do much more effect than an overwhelming composition. To fill a large empty space, it is best to use two medium-sized plants. Warning: House plants need to have a good amount of light to develop.

Chestnut plants

The chestnut is a plant native to southern Europe and North Africa. The regions in which its cultivation is carried out for production purposes are very small, even if in Italy it is witnessing its recovery in this sense. The European chestnut can reach a height of up to 25 meters, presenting trunks even of large circumference, with many branches and thick foliage. The leaves have an elliptical and elongated shape, with a serrated edge, intense green and shiny. The fruit is the famous chestnut, covered with a thorny hedgehog. Chestnut plants are very long-lived, and, as they grow, they take up more and more space: therefore, if you choose them as house plants, you must keep this characteristic in mind, in order to avoid problems in the future, when they become too bulky.

Modern house plants

The plants of modern houses are designed to enrich the environment and to soften the rigid lines of the spaces. For example, a large plant can be placed between a French door and a long window in a tall room, to mitigate the tall, narrow geometric structure. It is an elegant ornament for a bright, modern venue. Given that in modern houses the environment created is light and airy, with large windows, there should be no problems of lack of light: the plants, therefore, will enjoy good health, developing quickly and spontaneously. One trick is to take inspiration from museums, placing a spotlight to highlight the beauty of the house plant, looking for a light source that matches the rest of the furniture.

House plants: Chestnut trees for sale

Going back to talking about chestnut trees as house plants, normally, those that are for sale are about 2 years old and have a height between 1.5 and 2 meters. They can be bare-rooted or potted, depending on a precise agronomic choice made by the nurseryman. If the chestnut plant has bare root, the nursery is responsible for its integrity until delivery to the nursery itself or delivery by courier. Deliveries are often made in a period ranging from the second half of November to the first half of April. Sometimes nurseries allow buyers who wish to reserve chestnut plants (often without the need for advance deposits) until availability is exhausted. The reservation, in this case, is valid for a certain period and, if by that date,
