Anti-cellulite creams

Introduction

Scientifically it is called “edematous-fibro-sclerotic panniculopathy” and it is the most hated disorder by women. We are talking about cellulite, an aesthetic nuisance that has always affected the representatives of the fair sex. Cellulite does not discount anyone, not even the very young, who, by age, should be immune from this disorder. The delicate and complex female hormonal system, stress, genetic predisposition, poor dietary and lifestyle habits can favor the appearance of the “disease”. Because apart from the aesthetic discomfort, cellulite is also a disease that attacks the connective tissue. A very different thing is localized adiposity, which consists of accumulations of fat in certain specific areas of the body. Whether it is real cellulite or localized adiposity, the aesthetic result does not change, although the treatment methods of the two conditions may change. Cellulite also has vascular implications which in the most serious cases require the use of surgical solutions, solutions that are also useful in the case of localized fat. Today, on the market there are products enriched with particular substances that seem to have beneficial anti-cellulite properties: creams. Yes, because in the variegated world of cosmetics there are not only face creams or anti-aging creams, but also those against fat and cellulite. on the market there are products enriched with particular substances that seem to have beneficial anti-cellulite properties: creams. Features

Anti-cellulite creams are fluid or oily compounds enriched with plant active ingredients with a draining or firming effect. Although some plants possess beneficial properties in nature, it is useful to remember that they do not always work “miracles”, especially when it comes to advanced cellulite, that is when the holes on the skin, typical of this disease, have persisted for many years and have now dug very deep grooves on the connective tissue. As always, the best solution to solve problems remains prevention and acting in time with proper nutrition, physical exercise and the habitual use of creams with a draining and firming effect. These creams can be useful in improving the superficial layer of the skin, the one that shows the greatest signs of hollows, holes and other undulations typical of the accumulation of fat, water retention and cellulite in the initial or overt phase. We must not think that only anti-cellulite creams can solve, by themselves and in the blink of an eye, the hated problem of cellulite. The daily use of creams presupposes the total and definitive abandonment of bad habits and, therefore, during the application of the creams, you will have to say goodbye to a sedentary lifestyle, to fried, fried and other foods rich in salt and fats.

Which ones to choose

On the market there are several creams labeled as “anti-cellulite” or with “anti-cellulite” effect, but not all of them allow satisfactory results to be obtained (especially if the famous good habits mentioned in the previous paragraph are not combined). If you do not know the exact composition of the cream or the active ingredient used, you risk falling victim to the business of cosmetic products that promise miracles, but without truly appreciable results. Cellulite prefers female sex because this does not have the same testosterone levels as men (and thank goodness …), but infinitesimal quantities that do not allow the natural collagen of the connective tissue to be strengthened. Collagen is the protein that allows human skin tissue to have a toned and firm appearance and it seems that it is male testosterone that reinforces the effectiveness of this substance. A good anti-cellulite cream or one useful to prevent it, can be constituted by an adequate dose of collagen (not testosterone) which, massaged daily in the “critical” points, firms the skin by penetrating the connective tissue. The “real” anti-cellulite creams must, therefore, have a firming, but also draining effect. The accumulation of liquids is often the initial phase of the accumulation of fat which can then turn into cellulite and form the unsightly holes from which the term “orange peel skin” derives. it can consist of an adequate dose of collagen (not testosterone) which, massaged daily in the “critical” points, firms the skin by penetrating the connective tissue. Active ingredients contained

Many anti-cellulite creams, as already mentioned in the previous paragraphs, also contain plant extracts with firming and draining effects. The anti-cellulite creams on the market can contain extracts of seaweed, kelp and butcher’s broom, and even caffeine. These substances have the ability to reactivate the circulation, which, in case of cellulite, is seriously compromised. Cellulite is a disease that also has circulatory implications, because, when it develops, it slows down the circulation at the lymphatic and venous level, forming micro-lesions of the connective tissue that slow down the elimination of liquids. This condition leads to a progressive inflammation of the connective tissue, which presents itself with the typical imperfections of cellulite. Anti-cellulite creams, in addition to plant extracts that are aesthetically active against the disease, they may also contain adjuvant substances that help fight other conditions that are co-responsible for the worsening of cellulite. The adjuvant substances can be wheat germ and vitamin E, which respectively nourish the skin and fight free radicals. The formulation of anti-cellulite creams is extremely variable and depends not only on the choices of the manufacturers, but also on the effects to be obtained on the skin. For a surface smoothing effect, i.e. to reduce the unsightly orange peel skin, creams containing horse chestnut extracts are used, which stimulate circulation. To avoid allergenic effects or negative consequences related to use, anti-cellulite creams should be free of artificial fragrances, of chemical preservatives and dyes. The effectiveness of these creams can be enhanced by adding fragrances from essential oil extracts that exploit the principles of aromatherapy.
