Regarding the intake of nutrients, the ornamental shrub will present ordinary and not high needs to be fertilized. Fertilization will be concentrated in the vegetative period, with variable frequencies based on the type of fertilizer chosen, and interrupted in the autumn and winter season. In conclusion, the Rosa cocktail will be subject to attacks by parasites, such as leafhoppers and cochineal, as well as affected by certain cryptogamic diseases, such as gray mold. This mold, frequently attributable to heat or excessive environmental humidity, affects the buds and foliage and must be countered with the use of a specific insecticide.
