The home garden

Owning a personal garden at home is one of the greatest dreams of most of the world’s population; there are, in fact, people who go beyond the limits of the mortgage for their own home, extending and / or increasing the sacrifice as long as they are able to add a garden to their home. All this stems from the common experience that the garden is a real cure-all for health, rather than a plus in furnishing and the value of the house; this is actually possible thanks to word of mouth, to the spontaneous advertising to which all marketers aspire: when someone is comfortable with a product, advertising that advertises it to the rest of the population is not necessary, the voice of the satisfied customer will suffice to make spread the news that “that bed is comfortable” or “that refrigerator is excellent and consumes little”. The garden has been and still is subject to this type of phenomenon; anyone who owns a garden knows how precious this place is especially for mental health, making it a real paradise when we sit there on our return from work, away from the horns and smog, without a mobile phone or even without the thought of having to return at home (as if we were in some garden in the city), because we are already at home.

Having a garden

The short description of the final part of the previous chapter is incredibly comprehensive in describing the true why to own a garden; who owns it experiences these more unique than rare sensations, and can consider themselves really lucky. But since the garden manages to relax us so much that it puts us in a good mood and also helps relationships with others, very often it happens that those who own a garden come to “promote” it, as if it were a real advertisement, to friends and relatives, declaiming all the positive things (which are many) and, for the most sincere, even the few tasks to be done to keep it always at its best. And this is where the “home garden” phenomenon started, through the word of mouth of billions of people around the world, who recently mainly use the internet to talk and this guarantees an incredible speed of diffusion throughout the civilized globe. Today, having a garden near your home is a priceless fortune, precisely because the level of stress we accumulate at work and everywhere outside our home has reached such a high level that if we do not find something to unload it with we really risk bursting. And it is for this reason that so many people, and more and more in the world, decide to make that extra sacrifice to guarantee themselves a place of peace in their own home and to guarantee it also to the rest of their family, as if it were a bomb bunker, where the bomb is the stress of everyday life. precisely because the level of stress that we accumulate at work and in any place outside our home has reached such a high level that if we do not find something with which to discharge it we really risk bursting. Sacrifices for the garden

We have talked a lot about the sacrifices necessary to have a garden, and to most of us it is certainly known what the greatest sacrifice is to own one, the economic one; in fact, to have a garden that is at least decent you have to put a good hand in your wallet, also because being close to home it will presumably be a land for residential use and therefore will have a higher price; this does not happen when all the planning and the project of the house already foresee that there is a garden next to it, but equally this will be paid in the total bill because it is a not negligible benefit that has already been provided to us. But is the economic sacrifice the only one to make to really have a garden? Unfortunately not, although it must be pointed out that the sacrifice we will mention now is more pleasant, and of great lunda, of a mortgage to buy the garden from scratch. This is the very famous maintenance, as simple as it is important, but so indigestible to a large part of the population, too often convinced that there are no thorns near the rose garden.

The maintenance

Maintenance is a set of operations that aim to keep the functionality and aesthetics of whatever man possesses and uses intact over time; in the case of the garden, since it is purchased both for furnishing and functional purposes, it is very important and indispensable for both reasons. Imagine if we get bored of cleaning the weeds around the brick path, or if we don’t water the plants, or if we don’t prune them when it’s best, or if we don’t fix the tools in their place after using them, what would happen? We would find ourselves in a brushwood, a kind of savannah where it is also difficult to walk, or again we would find ourselves in a kind of arid and dry desert, lifeless but made only of dry and very sad branches, or else we will be prevented from looking out and walking because the plants will be uncontrolled and uncontrollable, or ultimately it will be a minefield of potentially dangerous tools for us, but above all for any children or people who do not know the place well and do not have big ones immediate adaptability (such as the elderly). And the conclusion of all this is that the garden loses its beauty, but above all it loses that anti-stress function for which we have chosen and bought it, since we will never be calm stepping on shovels or dry branches at every step, and neither will we stay do not worry if due to everything we have described we will not even be able to position the deckchair to relax a bit. or ultimately it will be a minefield of potentially dangerous tools for us, but above all for any children or people who do not know the place well and do not have great capacity for immediate adaptation (such as the elderly).
