Crop Associations

Companion crops have been used for a long time.

Practically since the human being began to develop agriculture, more or less about 10,000 years ago.

Which is the reason?

Survival. We have not always had food of any kind within our reach, at any time.

For much of our history, searching for food has been our main daily objective. That the crops were successful was essential.

Hence, little by little, the techniques of agriculture were perfected and new tricks were tried. Among them, the associations.

But, how can crop associations benefit you?

In many things. Between them:

  • You will make the most of the cultivable space in your garden.
  • You will minimize the risk of undesirable weeds appearing.
  • They usually prevent many problems, such as pests and diseases.
  • You will be able to take better advantage of the nutrients of the earth.
  • You will be able to nourish the soil with certain nutrients so that the plants benefit.
  • It will improve overall crop yield, growth and production.
